What are my thoughts on how society treats children?

“[Our] culture’s resistance to interacting with and treating children like humans is an expression of our resistance towards having tenderness, patience, and compassion on ourselves and on our bodies.”

January’s question comes from Katie and I was bursting with excitement the entire time I was answering it!

Katie asked, “You mentioned in a group coaching session last year that you had thoughts on how society treats and interacts with children. I'd be curious if you are willing to share, and also if you have new or changing thoughts as you prepare to parent?”
